## get_operation
Poll a durable operation's state, progress, structured failure, or result reference.
Poll after starting async work until the operation reaches a terminal state.
Do not poll faster than the operation's suggested interval; it wastes the caller's rate budget.
Scopes: agent:operations:read
Risk: read; confirmation: none; idempotency: none.
